Köpcke worked with painting, collage, assemblage, modifications and happenings. He wanted to break with the divide between everyday life and art, and therefore often used objects from everyday life in his works, as seen in his collages. In Fluxus art the process itself is just as important as the work itself. In that spirit Köpcke wanted to activate the viewer's participation in the artwork, fx in this collection of collages, all works state "You only contribute when placing the same as the title. Otherwise you are only a spectator, peeper, voyeur”. Everyone, especially other artists such as Per Kirkeby and Stig Brøgger, have therefore taken up the challenge and left their mark and signature on the works in question.
