A Danzig Baroque partiel gilt-silver cherub table spoon, rhombus-shaped handle, shallow and almost circular bowl, reverse chased with foliage. Maker Peter Rohde III, Danzig 1688–1705. Weight 57 g. L. 19 cm.
Provenance: From the collection of supreme court litigator Ole Gangsted-Rasmussen (1911–1998).
Condition
Minor wear due to age, including some marks and scratches. The bowl seems to have received a slight pressure near the shaft. A repair by the connection of handle og bowl.
