A Danish Amager silver-gilt “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, heart shaped with filigree-work, the hinged cover with crowned oval medallion, flanked by angels, the medallion with owner's initials and date HCS NJB 1866, the reverse with memorial, the body set with two medallions, the base with standing lions and balm-hide, pricked with initials and date HCS NJB 1866. Maker Christopher Glerup Jacobsen, Copenhagen 1847–1880. Weight 116 g. H. 11.5 cm. Fitted leather case with initials and date HCS NJB 1866.
