The date on the painting is wrong, since the bombardement happened between September 4th and 5th.
The original painting by C. A. Lorentzen bears the title “The Most Terrible Night. View of Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen During the English Bombardement of Copenhagen” is located in the collection of the Danish National Gallery KMS3468.
Examined in frame. Damp discolourations. Discolourations. Few minor holes through paper.
