A large French Napoleon III figural mantel clock of gilded bronze, adorned with seated figures in the shape of Urania and Kleio on either side of the vase-shaped clock case with a white enamel dial. Signed 'J.B. Marchand, a Paris, rue Richelieu' the movement stamped 'VOR DEWINT HER A PARIS 320'. The second half of the 19th century. H. 78 cm. W. 60 cm. D. 28 cm.
