Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 expedition landed far away from the planned area - something, however, that did not change the enourmous popularity of the participants. The next expedition (Apollo 12), on the other hand, made a precision landing November 19, 1969. The astronauts stayed on the Moon for 3.5 hours during which period they collected samples as well as handling other tasks. Almost no TV-recordings were sent back to the Earth from this voyage.
