A French half stocked percussion pistol c 1860 by Baradat in Bordeaux. The butt carved with fish scales, back action slightly engraved lock with set trigger marked BARADAT A BORDEAUX in gold, c 26,5 cm long octagonal damascene rifled tip-off barrel in calibre c 14,5 mm marked ELG in an oval. The stock ends in a fish? head and the trigger have a finger rest.
Condition
The iron slightly spotted, the nipple and barrel pin recent.
