A Danish rococo chest of drawers of giltwood and walnut, bombé-shaped with three drawers, later top of white Cararra marble. Later neo-rococo base of gilded wood and gilt bronze corner mounting. 18th/19th century. H. 80 cm. W. 71 cm. D. 55 cm.
Condition
The chest of drawers underwent a major renovation around 1850, which is why it has a later carved neo-rococo style base and gilded bronze corner moldings. Key is enclosed. Wear. Marks and scratches. Faded.
