On the stretcher an exhibition label. Presumably exhibited: Charlottenborg 1886, no. 292, entitled “Den nye Redningsbaad kommer i Land fra en Prøvetour. Jyllands Vestkyst” (The new lifeboat comes ashore from a trial trip. Jutland's West Coast). Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 612, 1995 no. 265, reproduced p. 131.

Condition

One minimal pressure mark. Minor crackles. In need of a light surface cleaning.
