Photographs from travels around the world

Collection of more than 170 photographs from a sailor's trips with various ships incl. “Hellig Olav”, “Fr.VIII”, “AArhus”, ØKs “Fionia” to South East Asia, “Nora Mærsk” to China, “Skuld”, “Georg Stage”, and the icebreaker “Storebjørn”. The collection contains photographs that gives insigth into the everyday life of a sailor sailor c. 1915–1930 and also includes photographs of cerimonies, and everyday life from Japan, Cambodia, Siam and Laos. All vintage gelatin silver prints mounted in contemporary photo album (with some wear). Various sizes.
