The blade is c. 30.5 cm long with hammon in notare-midare style properly around 1550, fuchi/kashira and menuki with bird motif, iron tsuba in the shape of muzzle shells, scabbard in gold lacquer decorated with fish, octopus and shell fish, kurigata, kojiri and uragawara in the form of snails and muzzle shells.
