Kay Bojesen (b. Copenhagen 1886, d. Gentofte 1958)

Wooden set of bowling pins and a ball. Comprising eight mainly blue painted skittles, a red and white painted skittle and a lacquered beech ball. Made by Kay Bojesen approx. 1950. Not marked. Skittles: H. 16.6–19.7 cm. Ball: Diam. approx. 9 cm. (10)

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Skittles with extensive peelings to paint as well as some cracks to the wood. Originally a wagon holding the large skittle and ball was part of the set, therefore the ball and large skittle both have a drilled mounting-hole to the underside - the wagon is however not included in the lot.
