Fritz Petzholdt (b. Copenhagen 1805, d. Patras 1838)

Provenance: The current owner has inherited the painting from her husband who inherited it from his mother, née Tuxen. She was daughter of Henry Tuxen, who registrated Petzholdt's paintings. He inherited the painting from his mother, Minna Tuxen, who was daughter of Tramway Director C. W. Wolfhagen and his wife Louise Wolfhagen. The latter's mother Angelique was the sister of Petzholdt.
The paper has turned slightly yello. A few minimal light discolourations in the upper corners. Examined in frame.
