A Danish coast, summer. View of Øresund with Kullen and Höganäs in the background. Nygaard is located between Ålsgårde and Hellebæk. Signed with monogram and dated 1850. Oil on canvas. 38×57.5 cm.
On the stretcher indistinct topographical information: B.... [?] Nygaard September.
Provenance: Publisher Oscar Gad's auction 1921 no. 92 entitled “Nordsjæll. Kyst. Kullen i Baggr.” (18th February 2020).
