Hans Olsen (b. Denmark 1919, d. s.p. 1992)

A rare valet chair with solid ash frame and solid carved teak seat. Made approx. 1957 by cabinetmaker Verner Birksholm.

Model presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Exhibition in 1957.

The chair was intended so that you could hang your shirt and jacket on the top part of the back, your pants on the horizontal stretcher below, and then place your shoes on two of the stretchers below the seat.

The model was only in executed in few examples.
