Tomas Tranströmer (1931–2015) was a Swedish author and psychologist who earned both national and international recognition in his authorship. In 1954 he made his debut with the poetry collection “17 Dikter” (17 Poems) and received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2011. His works revolve around topics such as nature, dreaming, death, remembrance, music, and traveling.
