A Historicist silver coffee pot, hinged cover with bird finial, handle as a female herma, pouring spout as stylized fable fish, throughout cast, chased and embossed with masks, animal heads, fruits and cartouches. Apparently no maker's mark, year letter presumably C for probably the Netherlands 1887, furthermore Danish assay mark Simon Groth (1863–1904) and Copenhagen town mark 1907. Weight 1,084 g. H. 35 cm.

Minimal and normal patina related with age and use, incl. minimal surface marks and scratches.
