Apollo 9 was the second manned Apollo Mission, which entirely took place in low orbit around the Earth. It was also the fourth launching of the Saturn V rocket and the first manned flight of the Apollo Lunar Module. Aboard were the astronauts James McDivitt (leader), David Scott and Russell “Rusty” Schweickart. The mission was conducted between March 3rd and March 13th 1969.
This is an original NASA colour offset photograph from 1969, which has yellowed slightly due to ageing/storage conditions. Furthermore normal signs of handling.
