An Italian Baroque scarlet red, giltwood and japanned bureau bookcase, 'Lacca Povera', arched crest above mirrored doors, enclosing an interior fitted with compartments and drawers, slope front enclosing minor drawers and rooms, the lower part with two short and two long drawers. First half of the 18th century and redecorated in the 19th century. H. 237 cm. W. 101 cm. D. 57 cm.
