A Belgian Colt Brevette after the pattern 1849 pocket revolver without serial number. The cylinder scene is ships and a train on a bridge, the 5 inch long octagonal barrels is faintly marked ADRESS COL SAML NEW YORK U S AMERICA. The frame and barrel is marked AV beneath a star, the same marks is on the cylinder together with a crowned oval in which the letters M VIS.

Mechanically defect. The grips repaired, the iron rust marked and cleaned.
