A selection of Chinese miniature porcelain vases in different shapes, decorated in underglaze blue with landscapes, figures and Buddhist symbols, one partly decorated in red and underglaze blue. Several vases with mark to bottom, the four marked Yongzheng, three vases without mark. Nine wooden bases enclosed. 19th century. H. excluding bases 5–8.5 cm. (20)

Provenance: Comes from a Danish privat collection. For two generations, the family's descendants resided in China between 1885–1945.

Condition

Rouleau shape vase with hairline crack to bottom and at the foot rim. Vase decorated red and blue with nick to foot rim. Four-sided vase with chip at the corner of the shoulder. More vases with irregularities in the glaze, including a dull area at the meiping shape vase. Surface scratches.
