Freestanding Brazilian rosewood desk, profiled legs with brass “shoes”. Front with six drawers, reverse side with pull-out leaf, brass handles. This example made 1956 by cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen, with maker's paper label. H. 74 cm. L. 167.5 cm. D. 83.5 cm.
Provenance: Made as a cabinetmaker's test piece. Acquired by present owner's father in 1956.
