With its declaration of “Three days with peace and music” Woodstock represents a highlight in the age of the hippie culture.
The organisers behind the festival had initially expected around 100,000 visitors during the three days it was intended to last, yet when the area was closed down on August 18th* approx. 450,000 people had been let in.
*) The tickets say August 15th-August 17th 1969, but due to delays the festival was extended with one day and thus it ended on August 18th.
Extremely rare. This is an original unused three day ticket for Woodstock Music and Art Fair August 15th-August 17th 1969. Very modest signs of handling.
