Finn Juhl (b. Frederiksberg 1912, d. Ordrup 1989)

“Delegates Chair”. A walnut armchair. Seat, cushion and back upholstered with wool. Model FJ 51. Designed 1951. Manufactured and marked by Onecollection.

The chair was designed for the chamber of The United Nations Trusteeship Council. The first few pieces were made by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, while a production for the UN chamber and the US market in general was manufactured by Baker Furniture. Later the model was manufactured by Onecollection in connection to the restoration of the chamber of The United Nations Trusteeship Council in 2012–2013.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches and marks. A chip of the frame on top of the back at the one side.
