A finely carved Norwegian powderhorn dated 1771 decorated with figures and inscriptions. The upper part is fluted and the lower part has on top the inscription: NAAR : LEKEN : BISTAND : HOLDE*. Below that two panels with lions and two with pistol shooting men and the inscription: HIELDEBRAN : OG : ALEBRAN : KIM PESLAG, below that four panels with mounted figures with swords. Along the lower rim the inscription: R : WED : DA : HAR : IEG : MAGT : AT FÆLD : NED : 1771 *. The bottom is in wood decorated with a crown and a mirror monogram.
