Two Chinese inscribed tea-poem trays, quatrefoil shaped resting on four small incurved feet, centre panel with an Imperial poem regarding the preparation of tea and dated to dingsi year of Jiaqing’s reign (corresponding to 1797), surrounded by a band of scrolling lotus and florets, the exterior of the walls with a variation of the band on the central bloom. Marked Jiaqing 1796–1820, and from the period. L. 15.9 cm. (2)
