Proveniens: Købt af nuværende ejer på Louisiana Museum for Moderne kunst i forbindelse med udstillingen “Sophie Calle” i 2010, hvor kunstneren havde doneret tredive værker til vidersalg.

Uddrag af udstillingsbeskrivelsen: “It is also the case with the exhibition’s main work, Take Care of Yourself, which was one of the high points of the Venice Biennale in 2007, where it was France’s contribution to the national pavilion. For this work Calle invited a large number of career women – from the ballet dancer to the lawyer – to apply their various professional skills to the personal interpretation of an e-mail where the artist’s lover breaks off their relationship. The women’s reactions are poetic, touching and humorous statements that together form a monumental installation.”
