A Chinese carved soapstone figure of the drunken poet Li Bai with an empty wine ewer, holding a scroll in his left hand. Indistinctly signed. Late Qing, c. 1900. H. 9 cm L. 15.5 cm. A fitted wooden stand included.

Provenance: Danish private collection.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Few natural cracks.
