A Danish “Amager” silver-gilt spice box “hovedvandsæg”, heart shaped with filigree, the hinged cover with oval medallion below crown, dated 1910 also initialled TLP, LHG, flanked by putti, oval foot with standing lions, fitted red leather etui case. Reverse pricked with initials and date CJIS, NDPS 1868. Maker Christopher Glerup Jacobsen, Copenhagen 1847–1880. Weight 118 gr. H. 11.5 cm.
