“The sculpture is thought as a guardian or companion spirit that guards and helps. A guardian spirit protects the individual or a group of people. According to old folklore each person had Its own guardian spirit which was adapted to his or her personality and could have the shape of an animal for example”.

About the artist: Jon graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine arts in 2006. He expresses himself through paintings, sculptures, video and installations – the idea comes before his choice of material. His famous bronze statues portray his fascination of magic and spirituality.
