I printed in red and black, handwritten signature in old handwriting, title page in vol. II and III printed in black. Illustrated with 32 engraved plates and maps, most double or folded (7+7+18). Not complete. The two large maps with tears. All 3 fly leaves with cut-out. Bound in cont. full calf bindings, bindings with signs of wear. (3)

Melchisédech was extremely talented. Besides being a famous cartographer, he was also the inventor of the spirit level and the author of the first book on the subject of swimming.
