A Spanish Baroque silver traveling pilgrim pendant, of oval form, front of the openwork frame contains a plaque with a portrait, presumably of a bishop, supposedly from a reliquary, reverse contains a plaque with a profile portrait of King Frederik III of Denmark (1609–1670, ruler from 1648), in between presumably a piece of a kind of sponge, top with loop and chain. Mid-17th century. H. (incl. loop) 8.5 cm. L. chain c. 50 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use, includning dents and marks.
