An antique Turkoman tentband, Saryk tribe, Central Asia. A complete tribal tentband with a wide variation of ornaments, originally used as a decoration panel for the Yurte(tribal tent). Second half 19th century. Complete length, 1289(excl. fringes) x 29 cm.
