In the 1950s Sophia Loren was the leading Italian star actress and sex symbol. She developed her talent under the guidance of the film producer Carlo Ponti (1912–2007) - who was also her husband - and the director Vittorio de Sica (1901–1974). Her big breakthrough came in 1960 with “La Ciociara”, which brought her an Oscar.
This is a modern reproduction of a colour photograph from ca. 1965. The photograph bears the authentic signature of the Italian actress Sophia Loren.
