Eberhard

A gentleman's wristwatch of 18k gold, ref. 649155. Mechanical movement with manual winding. White dial with gold hour markers and hands. Black Eberhard strap with Eberhard C-type buckle of gold plated metal. Watch diameter 35 mm. 1960s.

Eberhard & Co. was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by 22-year old watchmaker Georges-Emile Eberhard in 1887. Their main production consisted of pocket watches, chronometers and especially chronograph wristwatches both before and after the interwar period. Eberhard & Co. was also known to produce dress watches, more often than not with a classical white dial supplemented by golden hour markers and hands.

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use. The watch works, but we do not guarantee for the functionality.
