A Danish Southern Jutland parcel-gilt silver vinaigrette and gilt interior, of vase form with two handles, pierced top on hinged lid, elongated-hexagon base with balm hide, overall richly set with facet- and cabochoncut coloured glass stones, bottom pricked “Jürgen Hansen 1855”. Indistinct maker's mark, Sønderborg town mark. Mid-19th century. Weight 90 g. H. 13.5 cm.

Condition

Minimal wear due to age and use, including few marks and scratches.
