One of the artist Earl Moran's most famous models was Marilyn Monroe, whom he initially met in 1946. This happened via Blue Book Agency in Los Angeles. Subsequently - and until 1950 - the two frequently worked together and eventually a close friendship arose, which lasted till her death in 1962. Modelling for Earl Moran was among Marilyn Monroe's first professional engagements.
This is an original American colour litograph from ca. 1948, printed on the basis of an oil painting. Modest signs of handling.
