The portrait presumeably depicts the Scottish judge Lord Robertson (1794–1855).

Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 849, 2009 no. 621.

Condition

The canvas is relined and strengthened with wax. Minor peelings, numerous crackles, a few superficial scratches and retouches.
