This exposure (the original photo that is) is from 1951 and originates from Dromo in the south-western part of Tibet, near the Indian border. Here, the then 15 year old Dalai Lama and his government had settled during the escalating crisis, which a few years later (1959) led to the complete Chinese takeover of power.
This is a modern reproduction of a photograph from 1951. The photograph bears the authentic signature of the 14th Dalai Lama. Certificate of authenticity from JSA included. JSA is one of the most reputable authorities in the world in regards to valuation and authentication of signatures.
