Vilhelm Petersen (b. Copenhagen 1812, d. s.p. 1880)

Vilhelm Petersen arrived in Meran and Tirol late September 1850 and stayed there several months. He travelled from Bavaria through Austria over the Alps to the Italian part of Tirol and to Meran via Passeiertal and Timmels Loch. Merano is today a well-known wellness resort.
