Hans J. Wegner (b. Tønder 1914, d. Gentofte 2007)

“Papa Bear”. Easy chair with teak nails and legs. Loose cushion, sides and deep-buttoned back, upholstered with red Hallingdal wool. Model AP 19. Designed 1951. Manufactured by AP-Stolen, Copenhagen.

The “Papa Bear” easy chair was first time presented at the exhibition “Tidens Møbler” in Forum Copenhagen 1952.
