A pair of Empire gilt and patinated bronze five light candelabra, each with a female figure holding both arms aloft with scrolling branches and a raised central branch, the conical plinth decorated with portrait and reliefs with goats, raised on square section base. France, early 19th century. H. 73 cm. (2)
Provenance: The candelabra were acquired in the 1930s at an auction in the south of France. Later at Dragsholm castle until 1955.
