A pair of German, Rococo-fluted silver serving dishes, of oval shape, shallow well, upturned dish rim engraved with initials HH, curved and lobed-profiled edge, engraved on the reverse with resp. numbering and statement of weight: “No. 7 = 2 M 14 1/4 lot” and “No. 9 = 2 M 13 lot”. Makers presumably the brother Johann Bernhard Müller and Martin Friedrich Müller, Berlin ca. 1737–1780, assay scrape, furthermore marked presumably IS or SI. Weight 1,260 g. L. 34.5 cm. W. 22.5 cm.
