A pair of octagonal Kutani porcelain jars and covers, decorated in iron red and gold with figures, landscapes and flowers, finial in shape of child. Japan. Enclosed wooden bases. C. 1900. H. excluidng bases 31 cm. (2)

The one cover with hairline crack at the inside, the other with minimal nick. Wooden bases with drilled holes, not a match to the jars.
