Carnello is a small village near Sora in the region of Lazio in Italy.
Provenance: Auction at Charlottenborg, “Malerier og studier af Viggo Pedersen”, 1908 no. 44. Winkel & Magnussen auction 293, 1942 no. 287, here acquired by the Danish sculptor Anne Marie Carl Nielsen (1863–1945).
