In 1933 professor Kaare Klint designed “Safari Chair” with special attention to design a simple and portable easy chair. He was inspired by an English officer's chair which he had seen in a travel book from Africa. Constructing a chair which could easily be disassembled and assembled without using any tools Klint maintained the field equipment purpose of the chair.
Wear due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Leather with stains, dirt, crackles and minor holes.
