C. A. Jensen (b. Bredsted near Husum 1792, d. Copenhagen 1870)

A pair of portraits of professor N. C. L. Abrahams (1798–1870), and his mother Juliane Abrahams, née Meyer (1765–1847). He has black hair and wears glasses, a black coat and a purple waistcoat. She has grizzled black hair and wears a brown dress with puff sleeves and a white bonnet. Signed and dated Jensen p. 1834 and p. 1835. Oil on canvas. 23×19 cm each. Period frames. (2)
