The Bent Larsen collection of orders, medals and badges from the International Red Cross. Several countries represented, incl. Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal and Sweden. An interesting and comprehensive collection, spanning from the late 19th century to the late 20th. The collection is presented in 4 wall-mounted showcases. Also included are boxes to some of the decorations as well as the collector's extensive correspondence with the Red Cross offices in different countries.
Bent Larsen was a dealer and collector, specialized in decorations from the Red Cross. For several decades he had contact with the Red Cross with which he discussed and asked questions regarding the decorations and badges used and distributed by the organization.
