Sir Edmund Hillary (1919–2008) was a mountaineer, adventurer and explorer. He was born in New Zealand. Hillary and the Sherpa Tenzing Norgay were the first men to reach the top of Mount Everest, something they accomplished on May 29th, 1953. Since then approx. 4,000 people have completed that mission.

Sir Edmund Hillary was knighted by the English queen after his return from Everest.

Condition

This is a modern reproduction of a b/w photograph from 1953. The photograph bears the authentic signature of the New Zealand mountaineer Sir Edmund Hillary. Certificate of authenticity from PSA included. PSA is one of the most reputable authorities in the world in regards to valuation and authentication of signatures.
