Six NASA b/w silver gelatin promotional photographs of astronauts Neil Armstrong (1930–2012) and Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin (b. 1930) during training prior to the Apollo 11 Mission in July 1969. All with printed descriptions on backs as well as dating (April 1969). Framed. 25.5×20.3 cm / 20.3×25.5 cm. (6).

The Apollo 11 Mission was the first manned lunar landing and astronaut Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the Moon's surface, followed by Edwin Buzz Aldrin. The third member of the mission, Michael Collins (1930–2021), remained in orbit around the Moon. When Neil Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface, he famously said: 'This is but a small step for man, but a giant leap for mankind'.

These are six original b/w silver gelatin NASA promotional photographs from April 1969. Very modest signs of age and handling.
